OPW 61 SO OVERFILL PREVENTION VALVES OPW 61SO-1000 and 61SO-1000 Grooved Tube The OPW 6150-1000 and 6150-100C Overfill Prevention Valves feature a grooved tube design for use with tank gauging probes. The 61 IS is CARB approved. These valves have a slotted section that runs through both the tube and the valve body to allow the installation of most manufacturer's gauging systems - with only a negligible effect on product delivery time. The groved tube 61SO's are the only valves of their kind in the industry. Assembly All OPW 61 SO series valves are fur- nished unassembled with complete instructions and hardware for field or shop assembly. Delivery personnel should be managed and trained to inspect delivery elbows and hoses for damaged and missing parts. They should always make certain there is a positive connection between the adaptor and elbow. If delivery equipment is not properly maintained, or the elbow is not securely coupled to the adaptor - a serious spill may result when the OPW 6ISO closes - causing a hazard, and environmental contami- nation. Note: The OPW 61SO Overfill Prevention Valve is not to be used in pumping applications. The 6150 is designed only for gravity fill applications.
