RD. <br /> RIPON, CA 95366 RIPON, CA 95366 <br /> In late 1983? the Governor signed into law AB2013 .and 1362. These Fills require <br /> the inventory, inspection and permitting of all underground storage tanks that <br /> contain hazardous materials. The San Joaquin L.oc.al. Health District, Division <br /> of Environmental Health was: designated as the enforcement agency for the <br /> cities and unincorporated areas within San Joaquin County. State law provides <br /> for a fee system to cover the: cost of implementing this states mandated <br /> program. <br /> ,<- (see attached Fee Schedule) , for these required inspectional <br /> Local fees ..gee .. t _ : <br /> services, will be billed on a yearly basis. The facilities Permit to Operate <br /> will be issued for a. five year period. In addition to the yearly <br /> inspectional fee, this statement will also include a $56/tank-State surcharge <br /> fee. The State surcharge fee per tank will be charged every five years or <br /> whenever the facilities permit is renewed or amended. All State surcharge <br /> fees will be transmitted by the Health District to the California Water <br /> Resources Control. Board. <br /> To apply for a. facilities Permit to Operate, complete the attached Fee <br /> Worksheet and submit, the appropriate fees. Fees are due and payable February <br /> 3, 1986. Fees received after March 6, 1986 are subject to 104% penalty. <br /> In order to answer any questions regarding this Underground Storage Tank <br /> program, the San Joaquin Local Health Distict Division of Environmental. Health <br /> has scheduled the following information workshops" <br /> 1.. Thursday, January 30, 1986, 10 AM <br /> 2. Monday, February 3, 1986, 2 PM <br /> 3. Tuesday, February 11, 1986, 2 PM <br /> All of the above informational workshops will be conducted at the San Joaquin <br /> Local Health District Board Room, 1.601 E. Hazelton Ave. , Stockton, CA. Due to <br /> limited space,, these workshops wil be limited to the first 200 persons per <br /> meeting. <br /> If you have any questions regarding this, please contact C.
