FISCH, FISCH ENVIRONMENTAL CONSTRUCTION SERVICES <br /> DAVID IREY, DEPUTY D.A. <br /> DIANE KILCOYNE, DEPUTY D.A. <br /> DOUG WILSON, SUPERVISING R.E.H.S. <br /> LETITIA BRIGGS, SENIOR R.E.H.S. <br /> The meeting started with Mr. Irey informing Mr. Fisch the purpose <br /> of the meeting was to discuss the tank removal (Romero Property) . <br /> Mr. Irey let Mr. Fisch know he could bring any information he <br /> wanted to prior to filing the case. However, Mr. Fisch did not <br /> have to say anything if he didn' t want to. Mr. Fisch stated he <br /> wanted to tell his side of the story. Mr. Fisch indicated he was <br /> very experienced in tank removals, but he had not done any <br /> removals in San Joaquin County with his new company prior to May <br /> 1995 . Mr. Fisch stated that he didn' t have any files with him for <br /> the site because he is building a new house, living in a trailer, <br /> and everything is in storage (both business and personal <br /> property) . <br /> * Mr. Fisch indicated he was very experienced in tank <br /> removals, but he had not done any removals prior to May <br /> of 1995 in San Joaquin County. <br /> * Mr. Fisch indicated that he had called Environmental <br /> Health (The Department) and was told he did not need to <br /> take out a permit for a farm tank. David Irey read <br /> from the May 3 , 1995 file entry which stated farm tanks <br /> do need a Fire Permit prior to removal . <br /> * Mr. Fisch stated that he was only doing the right thing <br /> by calling the department . <br /> * David Irey asked Mr. Fisch if he had obtained a fire <br /> permit prior to tank removal . Mr. Fisch claimed he had <br /> not . <br /> * Mr. Fisch indicated that he had only a one person <br /> operation he had just himself and his wife to answer <br /> the telephone .
