WORK SCOPE <br /> CONTINUOUS MONITORING SYSTEMS INSTALLATION <br /> FOR MORTON PAINT COMPANY <br /> STOCKTON, CALIFORNIA <br /> PROPOSAL #641 <br /> INTRODUCTION <br /> Groundwater Technology is pleased to present this proaosal <br /> to design and install a comprehensive underground tank leak <br /> mcnitoring system at the ?porton Paint company facility in <br /> Stockton, California . The facility is a paint manufacturing <br /> Plant that has on-site storage Of gasoline and solvents in ten, <br /> 8 , 004 gallon underground tanks . The tanks conta; n ; acetone, <br /> toluene , xylene, methyl ethyl ketone (ME �l <br /> K ) , propylene glycol <br /> methyl ether acetate (PMA) , blended solvents (toluene, xylene , 3 <br /> tanks ) and 2 tanks of unleaded gasoline. The tanks lay end to <br /> end in two rows of five in a single tank pit. We understand that <br /> the tank pit is backfilled with a granular material . <br /> The monitoring system proposed herein is based upon the <br /> requirements of State of California Regional water Quality <br /> Ccntrcl Board ' s monitoring alternative 2 .
