' J. H. KLEINFELDER & ASSOCIATES <br /> 1 EXECUTIVE SUMMARY <br /> A 2,000 gallon underground fuel storage tank was removed from the <br /> Valimet, Inc. , facility on April 28, 1987. Tank removal followed <br /> procedures presented in Kleinfelder's tank closure plan approved by the <br /> San Joaquin Local Health District (SJLDC) . Two soil samples identified as <br /> T-001 and T-002 were collected from the open excavation at the request of <br /> Mr. Doug Wilson of SJLHD. One sample, T-002, was submitted to be analyzed <br /> for total petroleum hydrocarbons by modified EPA Method 8015, volatile <br /> 1 aromatic compounds (benzene, toluene, xylene) by EPA Method 8020, total <br /> organic lead, and ethylene dibromide.
