September 11, 2000 <br />50441 <br />Mr. Vidal Pedraza <br />San Joaquin County Public Health Service <br />Environmental Health Division (PHS/EHD) <br />Page 7 <br />Harding Lawson Associates <br />' Based on the analytical results and the observations made in the field, HLA concludes that the soils beneath <br />the UST were not impacted and do not require any additional sampling or investigation. <br />' Based on the information and conclusions presented in this report and summarized above, HLA recommends <br />that the UST be considered appropriately closed and a no -further -action -required letter be issued by the <br />PHS/EHD to Newark Sierra. <br />LMTATIONS <br />' The activities were conducted in accordance with practices and procedures generally accepted in the <br />consulting engineering field. Information presented in this report does not confirm the presence or absence <br />of suspect materials at the property, but indicates whether the possibility of such materials exists based on <br />' the scope of work performed. Our professional opinions expressed herein are based on limited data; no other <br />warranty is given or implied by this report.
