Harding Way ap?M/It/, AL
Stockton, CA /6ERVC S iM
Dear Ms. Hinson:
We plan on closing the tank hole at the subject site starting Wednesday
November 2, 1988. Attached are the certified analytical results. As you
can see at 20' in the hole, Total Petroleum Hydrocarbons as Gasoline range
from ND to 6240 ppm. We have excavated to the limit of our equipment.
The open tank hole continues to be a safety hazard which we would like to
eliminate. If additional soil clean-up is required, we will treat it in-situ.
This will be determined by the installation of soil borings/monitoring wells.
On August 9, you forwarded a draft of the approval of the workplan for the
installation of 3 soil borings/monitoring wells. We will incorporate your 8
considerations into the work plan. Based on the information we have on the
tank hole, we propose to add 3 additional borings to the work plan. All
approved protocol will be followed. Attached is a groundplan showing
locations of all wells.
The paperwork allowing our consultant to release data to you was forwarded
to in August. If you need additional clarification, please call Kay Huffman
at (415)842-9602. -
Very truly yours,
D.
