Harding FERMIT/SERVICES
Stockton , Ca .
Dear Tony Arado :
The tank systems tested at this location are identified as
follows :
Tank system #1 South 10 , 000 Gallon Unleaded .
Tank system #2 Center 10, 000 Gallon Super Unleaded
Tank system #3 North 10, 000 Gallon Regular .
The National Fire Protection Association ' s criteria for a tight
tank system is a system with a rate of leak less than . 050
gal/hr . These are calculated, mathematical tolerances only and
are not meant to indicate the permission of any leak.
During the stand-pipe test procedure the liquid hydrostatic pres-
sure applied to the underground tank system is generally two to
three times greater than normal liquid storage pressures . This
increase in hydrostatic pressure will amplify the indicated rate
of leak accordingly.
Tank #1 showed a leak rate of +.028 gal/hr .
Tank #1 is tight .
Tank #2 showed a leak rate of + . 017 gal/hr .
Tank #2 is tight .
Tank #3 showed a leak rate of + . 010 gal/hr .
Tank #3 is tight .
continued on page 2
Precision Tank Testing
Professional Tank Services, Ltd. • Safe • Secure • Systematic
