The following conditions
continue to exist at the above site:
August 2, 1989 - Tank #1496-01
One 10,000 gallon diesel UST was removed this date; one grab water sample from
the tank excavation and 2 soil samples were collected from beneath the tank. The
depth to groundwater has been documented at 60 feet bgs. The grab water sample
is not representative of groundwater, and may have been from localized irrigation.
No benzene, toluene, ethyl benzene or xylene (BTEX) was detected; Total petroleum
hydrocarbons as diesel (TPHD) were detected at 550 milligrams per kilogram (mg/kg)
at 14 feet below grade surface (bgs).
June 14, 1994 - Tank #1496-02 and Tank #1496-03
One 2,000 gallon diesel/gas UST (#1496-02) was removed and 2 soil samples were
collected from beneath the tank. At 13.5 feet below grade surface (bgs), 27
micrograms per kilogram (ug/kg) of xylene was detected with all other BTEX analytes
nondetected. Total petroleum hydrocarbons as diesel (TPHD) were detected at 440
milligrams per kilogram (mg/kg).
One 1,000 gallon gas UST (#1496-03) was removed and 2 soil samples were
collected from beneath the tank. At 12.5 feet below grade surface (bgs), 18
micrograms per kilogram (ug/kg) of xylene was detected with all other BTEX analytes
nondetected. Total petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline (TPHG) were nondetected.
.4 Division of San Joaquin County Health Care Services
