CALIF. 800/332-5900 FAX 209/462-2024 <br />UP <br />CALIFORNIA STATE LIC. 467293 <br />Site Nam: San Joaquin County <br />Human Resource Building Site <br />145 South Sutter Street <br />Stockton, CA 95202 <br />On August 8, 1989, during building site preparation, an <br />underground storage tank was unearthed by the Continental <br />Heller Corporation at the above address. <br />The tank appears to be a 350 gallon fuel oil tank that <br />was Dried under the former sidewalk. <br />To complete closure, Precision Industries Inc., proposes to: <br />- Renpve all liquids in the tank. The liquids will be <br />pumped out by Refinery Services, 13331 W. Highway 33, <br />Patterson, CA for recycling or disposal. <br />- Fifteen pounds of dry ice will be added to the tank <br />before loading and transporting. <br />- The tank will be transported under hazardous waste <br />manifest by Erickson Inc., to their facility at 255 <br />Parr Blvd., Richmond, CA. The tank will be cleaned <br />and cut up for scrap material. A certificate of <br />disposal will be forwarded directly to San Joaquin <br />Public Health District. <br />- Soil Samples: A hand auger will be used to a depth <br />of approximately 2 feet below the former tank bottom. <br />Brass tubes will then be driven into soil. <br />7 <br />Two soil samples will be tanken each bor' One <br />each will be analyzed by E P A met�iDd and 8015 <br />modified. <br />
