Atlantic Richfield Company Page 1 <br /> ARCO Station No 4932 Stockton California August 29 2002 <br /> 1.0 INTRODUCTION <br /> SECOR International Incorporated (SECOR) has prepared this report on behalf of Atlantic <br /> Richfield Company for the site, located at 16 East Harding Way in Stockton, California <br /> (Figure 1) This PAR, which includes the results of additional assessment, includes the <br /> following information <br /> • A summary of site background information <br /> • A summary of a water supply well survey and a utility survey <br /> • A summary of the extent of petroleum hydrocarbon and MtBE impacts on <br /> subsurface soil and groundwater <br /> • A summary of the current status of the site <br /> • Documentation of the installation of two deep monitoring wells (DMW-2 <br /> and DMW-3), two monitoring wells (MW-10 and MW-11), and one <br /> extraction well (EW-2) <br /> • A summary of DPE feasibility testing, aquifer pump testing, and interim <br /> remediation performed at the site <br /> • Evaluation of remedial alternatives for remediation of petroleum <br /> hydrocarbons and MtBE in soil and groundwater <br /> • A summary of the recommended remedial alternative for the site, and an <br /> estimated schedule for implementing this remedial alternative <br /> The purpose of this report is to present soil and groundwater data that characterizes <br /> subsurface conditions beneath the first encountered water bearing zone, and to present <br /> additional information based on remedial feasibility testing to present a plan to remediate <br /> petroleum hydrocarbons and MtBE present in soil and groundwater beneath the subject site <br /> This report has been prepared in response to the SJCEHD letter dated February 14, 2002, <br /> which is included as Appendix A A list of references used for the preparation of this report <br /> is included at the end of the document <br /> i <br /> 1 1ARCO\49321PARXPAR doe <br />
