ASBESTOS SURVEY REPORT <br /> JOHN DEERE PARTS DISTRIBUTION DEPOT <br /> 4101 South Airport Way <br /> Stockton, California 95206 <br /> ATC Project Number 35.75376.5663 <br /> 1.0 PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF SERVICES <br /> The purpose of this project was to conduct an asbestos survey of the John Deere Parts <br /> Distribution Depot located at 4101 South Alport Way, Stockton, California, hereinafter <br /> referred to as the site. The survey was conducted in accordance with ATC's written Proposal <br /> Number 35-07-0030-N, dated March 5, 2007. On August 23, 2007, ATC provided the <br /> services in accordance with the referenced agreement,and as outlined below: <br /> Conduct an asbestos survey of all internal and external areas of the subject budding, including <br /> any existing utility tunnels,which includes the following: <br /> • Review existing asbestos survey and/or abatement reports for the building, if available. <br /> The prior reports will be cross-referenced for previously identified ACM. If previously <br /> identified ACM is identified as remaining in the site budding and the locations can be <br /> cross-referenced in the prior survey report and field-verified,additional samples will not <br /> be collected. All previously sampled materials that tested negative for asbestos will be <br /> re-sampled for the purposes of this survey. <br /> • Survey the site building in accordance with the requirements of 40 CFR 763-Subpart <br /> E,Asbestos Hazard Emergency Response Act(AHERA). <br /> • Identify accessible suspect asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) it the budding <br /> interior and exterior using United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) <br /> AHERA protocols. This will include the quantification of suspect ACM, field-verifying <br /> quantities of previously identified ACM, completing a hazard assessment of each <br /> material for potential exposure risks,and locating the materials and sample locations on <br /> chent-provided floor plans of the property improvements. <br /> • Collect and analyze bulk samples of suspect fiiable and non-&fable materials to <br /> eliminate suspect materials as asbestos containing. All samples will be submitted to a <br /> laboratory accredited by the National Voluntary Laboratory Accreditation Program <br /> (NVLAP). <br /> • Provide an asbestos survey report that, in addition to documenting the above- <br /> referenced activities, provides findings and observations, conclusions and <br /> recommendations,and anticipated abatement costs. <br /> 1 <br />
