During removal of the tank <br /> farms, no indication of leaking from the inner liner of the dike walls was visually observed. <br /> • With respect to the items numbered 14 and 17, as noted in the letter to Ms. Briggs, portable <br /> two-way radios for emergency notifications have been provided to employees performing <br /> transfers of hazardous materials and/or hazardous waste. Portable two-way radios for <br /> emergency notifications were also provided to employees working in the secondary <br /> containment areas before the tank farms were dismantled. <br /> • With respect to item 45, Helena's contingency plan is being updated, and will be made <br /> available on request. <br /> • With respect to item 69, as noted in the letter to Ms. Briggs, Helena is implementing daily <br /> inspections. <br /> Thank you for your assistance in this matter.
