Sierra Chemical Co. <br /> Hazardous Waste Management Plan <br /> 13. Training <br /> All employees handling hazardous waste will be trained periodically on Hazardous Waste awareness and <br /> appropriate handling procedures or when a new process involving hazardous waste management is <br /> implemented. In addition,a select number of Sierra Chemical Co. employees are trained to act as <br /> emergency responders in the event of a major spill or release of a hazardous material or hazardous <br /> waste.Any Sierra Chemical Co. employee signing uniform hazardous waste manifests during hazardous <br /> waste pick-ups will be trained in DOT Training for Signing a Hazardous Waste Manifest. Per the <br /> requirements of 49 CFR,those signing the hazardous waste manifests are required to complete this <br /> training, at least, every three (3)years.The EHSS Manager is responsible for ensuring that those <br /> handling hazardous wastes or materials and/or signing hazardous waste manifests are appropriately <br /> trained. <br /> Prepared By: Issue date: Replaces: Page: <br /> ACT Environmental Services, Inc.
