Influent Hazardous Waste stream Prior to System Consolidation and Treatment.
- MECO plating line process wastewater.
B. Hazardous Waste Determination for influent:
STS Assembly operations will sample the water at the Wastewater treatment system a
minimum once a year. A grab sample will be collected in one liter wide mouth jar during
representative system operation. The sample will be sent offsite to a California certified
laboratory, which will utilize appropriate testing methods to obtain Total Threshold
Concentration (TLC) and Soluble Threshold Concentration (STLC), as necessary, for Zinc,
Silver, Copper, Nickel and Lead. The PH of the wastewater sample will also be determined.
C. Hazardous Waste Determination of Effluent:
A composite sample of the dewatered sludge is collected at least once a year prior to
shipment offsite. The sludge is tested or the above metals of concern at a certified laboratory
utilizing appropriate test methods.
The effluent wastewater is sampled once a month and analyzed by California certified
laboratory for Zinc, Silver, Copper, Nickel and Lead concentrations. These values are
reported monthly to the City of Manteca Public Works Department. The PH of the effluent
wastewater is monitored continuously by a control system which will automatically divert the
collection tank if the effluent is outside the 6.8-9.6 PH range.
Silicon Turnkey Solutions
400 Industrial Park Drive, Manteca, CA 95337
Tel: (209) 239-4444 Fax: (209) 239-4882
