We
recommend that all spray nozzles be constructed from 300-series
stainless steel .
INITIAL CHARGING PROCEDURE
1 . Fill the tank to 2/3 of the final volume with clean, cool
water.
2 . Add the required amount of CORAK 713 slowly; agitate to mix
thoroughly.
3 . Add cool water to fill the tank to the operating
level .
4 . Adjust the pH of the bath. An operating bath with
an initial charge of 10 gallons of CORAK 713 per
1000 gallons will require the addition of 3700 ml .
of CORAK 712 to reduce the pH to 5.0. After the
initial addition of CORAK 712, re-check the pH.
If further pH reduction is indicated, add 70 ml . of CORAK 712
per 1000 gallons for each 0. 1 pH
unit to be reduced.
5 . When the pH is at the proper balance for your phosphate, the
solution is ready to be heated
to operating temperature.
2
