Two 55 gallon black steel drums of used oil and gasoline filters were observed in the hazardous <br /> waste storage area outside the tractor shop without accumulation start dates. Used oil filters must be <br /> stored in a closed, rainproof container, labeled as "drained used oil filters," and marked with an <br /> accumulation start date. The label was corrected at the time of inspection. <br /> REPEAT VIOLATION <br /> Notes: (corrected on site) <br /> - A 55 gallon black steel drum in the tractor shop which previously held used oil and a 55 gallon black <br /> steel drum in the trailer shop which previously held waste coolant was observed without empty labeling. <br /> Containers larger than five gallons that previously held a hazardous material shall be marked as empty <br /> with the date they were emptied and managed within one year of being emptied. The containers were <br /> labeled at the time of inspection. <br /> - A hose reel which still contained used oil was found in the dumpster behind the trailer shop. The <br /> disposal of any hazardous waste, or the causing of the disposal, is prohibited when the disposal is at a <br /> facility which is not permitted for hazardous waste disposal. The hose reel was removed from the <br /> dumpster for proper disposal at the time of inspection. <br /> Provided: Schedule of FREE classes <br /> ALL EHD STAFF TIME ASSOCIATED WITH FAILING TO COMPLY BY THE ABOVE NOTED DATES WILL BE BILLED AT THE CURRENT HOURLY RATE. <br /> THIS FACILITY IS SUBJECT TO REINSPECTION AT ANY TIME AT EHD'S CURRENT HOURLY RATE. <br /> EHD Inspector: Receiv B .
