RECEIVE[ <br /> JB HUNT TRANSPORTATION JUN 19 2015 <br /> Position Description ENVIRONMENTAL <br /> UC&ITU nCDARTAACKIT <br /> Functional Title: Refrigeration Technician II <br /> Exempt(Y/N): No Department: Trailer Shop <br /> Date: February 2007 Reports To: Shop Foreman <br /> SUMMARY <br /> The incumbent is responsible to diagnose operations problems and make repairs to ensure safe and <br /> efficient operation of trailer refrigeration systems. Completes all fleet maintenance processes. <br /> ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES <br /> 1. Understand the operation of trailer refrigeration systems and the effects of ambient temperature <br /> on the unit. <br /> 2. Make basic repairs and service units in a timely and safe manner. <br /> 3. Understand and perform basic operation on the unit's control panel. <br /> 4. Retrieve and understand diagnostic codes. <br /> 5. Perform a PM check and service to include flush,vacuum, and charge the system. <br /> 6. Obtain necessary supplies and parts to make repairs. <br /> 7. Understand the use of vacuum pumps, manifold gauges, multimeters,and evac. machines. <br /> 8. Perform in-depth schematic reading for advanced electrical/electronic diagnostics. <br /> 9. Repair and replace circuit boards. <br /> 10. Perform in-depth leak detection and advanced major component replacement such as compressors <br /> and engine assemblies. <br /> 11. Maintain a clean and organized work station. <br /> 12.
