Any person who generates a waste shall determine if <br /> the waste is a hazardous waste. Immediately stop disposing the floor sweep and paper towels used for oil spills in <br /> the trash, make a hazardous waste determination for the floor sweep and paper towels, and manage them according <br /> the Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. Submit a statement and supporting documentation explaining how this <br /> waste was managed. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, by April 7, 2016. <br /> Notes: A verbal consent to inspect, photograph and take sample was given by Jerry Johnson, Store Manager. <br /> Facility has a hazardous waste disposal program in place since 2014. Since 2014, there has only been one <br /> disposal of hazardous waste according to Mr. Johnson and prior to this hazardous waste program, the facility <br /> was shipping hazardous waste back to the distribution center(this procedure has been discontinued).
