1/25/2016 <br /> Tesoro Logistics LPRECEIV, <br /> E D <br /> Stockton Terminal <br /> FEB 16 2016 <br /> ENVIRONMENTAL <br /> JOB DESCRIPTION SUPPLEMENT HFA!TH nFA4RTIfiCA1T <br /> WASTE HANDLING SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITES <br /> FUNCTION: Supervision and management of all solid waste generated by the facility to <br /> ensure that waste handling practices are in accordance with applicable laws and <br /> regulations <br /> JOB SCOPEXLEMENTS <br /> • Supervise Waste Handling and oversee support personnel. <br /> • Assure that proper Hazardous Waste training for position holder and terminal workers is <br /> current(annual). <br /> • Provide training, or arrange for training, on proper waste handling procedures and <br /> requirements. <br /> j • Perform or oversee the performance of periodic facility inspections, including: <br /> • Proper drum labelling <br /> • Inspect waste containers each week, record the inspections <br /> • If multiple drums, proper drum isle space and assure drums labels are facing out <br /> • Assure lids are tight and secured <br /> • Assure that non-compatible waste are not stored together(e.g.,acid sludge,high pH <br /> caustics) <br /> • Comply with 90-day holding rules, or longer holding is the facility is a small quantity <br /> generator or a conditionally small quantity generator(confer with designated <br /> environmental representative for the terminal when new waste streams or amounts are <br /> generated) <br /> • Maintain copies of manifests on-site <br /> • In CA—assure that all oily wastes are considered and treated as hazardous wastes <br /> ("California Hazardous Wastes") <br /> • Proper storage and set aside for universal wastes (spent fluorescent bulbs, batteries) for <br /> proper pickup <br />
