Fluorescent ti bes must be stored in a structurally sound closed container to prevent accidental breakage. Co rect by placing the tubes in a structurally sound closed container. 609. Stored iversal Waste fluorescent tubes on site longer than 1 year. The Universal Waste label states a start iccumulation date of 07/2009. Owner is unsure if that is the correct start accumulation date. Univers I Waste fluorescent tubes can be stored on site for up to 1 year of start accumulation date. Correct y having a licensed hazardous waste hauler dispose of this waste and submit a copy of the disposal mceipt to EHD or self-haul the fluorescent tubes to an authorized hazardous waste disposal facility and o ain a disposal receipt.
