Photo A: Waste oil collected firm residential neighborhoods is stored in a 550 -gallon
storage tank situated horizontally within a one-piece fiberglass secondary containment
system with an approximate 750 -gallon capacity. The waste oil tank is located in a
covered area and protected from vehicle traffic. Spill kit is located adjacent to the tank.
Only qualified WMI employees are permitted to pour waste oil into the tank and crush oil
filters.
Photo #2: Photograph illustrates that the tank opening is slightly larger than the
funneling channel spout entering the tank. This configuration prevents tank integrity
testing by pressurization unless the tank opening and spout can be sealed allowing the
tank to be pressurized. if the opening can not be sealed allowing the tank to be
pressurized than other forms of nondestructive tank integrity testing should be
conducted.
Nazanfous Waste Oil Tank Assessment Report NES Iuc.
Waste Management, Inc. - Central Dalley Waste Transfer Station NES Project Number 289.EC743.00
Lodi, California
