The tank integrity testing results (Afforda-Te$t 12/2008) are <br />included as Attachment C. <br />RECOMMENDATIONS <br />Continue daily inspections of the tank and the secondary containment system. Document <br />findings daily on the hazardous waste oil tank inspection checklist. Submit and maintain <br />completed daily inspection checklists in accordance with WMI's Waste Oil Management <br />Program requirements. <br />Verify that the tank's two electric pumps have been disconnected at the electrical supply panel <br />within the maintenance shop. If not, disconnect the electrical source to the tank pumps since <br />those pumps were replaced by pneumatic pumps. <br />Perform non-destructive tank integrity testing every 5 years, at a minimum. According to 22 <br />CCR §66265.192, this Hazardous Waste Oil Tank Assessment Report, and subsequent tank <br />integrity tests, must be kept on file at the Central Valley Transfer Station facility, in Lodi, <br />California, until closure of that facility. <br />Place safety bollards strategic locations to protect the tank from vehicles. <br />Add emergency contact name and telephone number information onto tank. <br />Adjacent to the tank, place adsorbent `pigs', drain covers, or other means of diverting and/or <br />directing a potential tank spill away from the drain. <br />CERTIFICATION <br />This Hazardous Waste Oil Tank Assessment Report was reviewed and certified by an <br />independent, qualified, professional engineer, registered in California. Refer to Attachment D. <br />LIMITATIONS <br />Services were provided by NES in accordance with the existing standard of care practiced by <br />similar professionals in Northern California at the time services were provided. No warranty, <br />expressed or implied, is made.
