July 21, 2005 <br />San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department W��0�� <br />304 East Weber Avenue, Third Floor <br />Stockton, California 95202-2708 <br />Attention: Mr. Dennis Catanyag JUL d 5 2005 <br />Senior Environmental Health Specialist ENVIRONNAENT HEALTH <br />PERMIT/SERVICES <br />RE: Hazardous Waste Generator Program Inspection Report dated 6/30/05 for <br />Central Valley Waste Services; 1333 East Turner Road, Lodi <br />Dear Mr. Catanyag: <br />Central Valley Waste Services submits the following responses to the items listed <br />on the subject inspection report. <br />#10 Finding: Liquid and sludge previously handled as hazardous is <br />being handled as "non-regulated liquid". <br />Corrective Action: The waste stream was re-classified based on <br />correspondence with the State of California Board of Equalization <br />including the submittal of analytical data that support the non- <br />hazardous determination. Copies of the correspondence and <br />analytical data submitted to the BOE is included in Enclosure (1). <br />This information is maintained on-site. <br />#19 Finding: Two drums of spent absorbent on-site over 90 days from <br />label accumulation start date. <br />Corrective Action: The spent absorbent was shipped off-site via <br />Safety Kleen.
