A <br />person who transports in a container ten pounds or less of waste elemental mercury to a <br />resource recovery facility where mercury will be recovered from that waste is exempt <br />from the requirements for registration with DTSC as a hazardous waste hauler and for <br />the use of a manifest even if the transporter is not the generator of the waste. These <br />provisions can be found in Title 22, California Code of Regulations, Section <br />66266.120(a)(1) and (a)(2). <br />21 <br />
