Lodi, CA. CVWS is a subsidiary of USA Waste of California, Inc. During the <br />inspection, SJEHD documented three alleged violations. Central Valley Waste Services has <br />subsequently investigated these alleged violations and has prepared the following response. <br />Attached are the training records, pictures and Return to Compliance Certification that you <br />requested. <br />Violation code: CCR 66265.16(a -c) Failed to complete training on hazardous waste <br />management and emergency response procedures. <br />Facility training documentation indicated that the driving personnel and shop personnel <br />hazardous waste management/response training has not been completed within the past 12 <br />months. CVWS has done the required training for the Drivers and Maintenance Shop personnel. <br />Please see Attachment A. <br />Violation code: 301 — Facility not maintained to minimize the release of hazardous waste. <br />Dark oily stains were found on the cement outside the maintenance shop south of the bay doors, <br />on the cement outside next to the five -hundred gallon hydraulic oil tank number S and fhve- <br />hundred gallon semi -synthetic diesel engine oil tank number 6, and outside at the hazardous <br />waste storage area. Broken fluorescent tube pieces and metal fines were left on the secondary <br />maintenance shop floor. <br />Oil stains located in Transfer Station hazardous waste storage area was pressure washed and <br />vacuumed up by Valley Fleet Clean. <br />Oil stains in front of the Maintenance Shop bay doors, were cleaned using a Hot Mop. <br />
