(EES) is pleased to provide Pacific Growers, <br /> Inc. (PGI) with professional, responsive, and experienced tank excavation services. <br /> EES's proposed program is designed to provide all required activities for <br /> underground fuel storage tank closure and site restoration. <br /> Tlie proposed excavation program encompasses the removal and disposal of one <br /> 1 ,000-gallon underground diesel storage tank (UST). The excavation and tank <br /> disposal program will be accomplished as described below. - <br /> SCOPE OF WORK , <br /> All EES activities will be performed in strict compliance with all applicable safety <br /> and environmental regulations. <br /> Permits <br /> EES will obtain all required permits and approvals from the San Joaquin Health. <br /> District prior to beginning any field activities. In addition,EES will coordinate tank <br /> excavation date and time (as required) with the environmental regulatory agent and <br /> the local fire protection district. The cost for permits is included in the costs quoted <br /> herein. <br /> Site Preparation <br /> Site preparation will consist of the following tasks: <br /> • Locate underground utilities over or adjacent to tanks. <br /> • Disconnect visible associated tank piping. <br /> • Barricade area to restrict people and vehicular access. <br />
