August 11, 1986 _ <br />C CP"`� <br />Byron Lang <br />9172 Thornton Rd. <br />Stockton, CA 95209 <br />RE: Underground Storage Tank at 9172 Thornton Rd., Stockton, CA <br />The Permanent Closure Plan submitted on August .6, 1986 has been reviewed by the <br />Health District staff and approved subject to the following conditions: <br />1. Owner shall perform all removal work or show proof of.workmans compensation <br />insurance for any employee hired to assist in the tank removal. <br />2. The closure plan addresses two underground storage tanks only. Health <br />District records indicate four underground storage tanks on the property. <br />A commitment from the owner addressing the two other tanks is required <br />immediately. <br />3. Provide proof that all remaing material in the existing tank has been <br />removed. <br />4. Dry ice for purging the underground storage tanks shall be applied at a <br />rate of 15 pounds per 1000 gallon. Check with the local fire department. <br />5. The proposed use of the abandon tanks for cattle watering troughs is <br />prohibited.
