These Bills require <br /> the inventory, inspection and permitting of all underground storage tanks that <br /> contain hazardous materials. The San Joaquin Local Health District, Division <br /> of Environmental Health was designated as the enforcement agency for the <br /> cities and unincorporated areas within San Joaquin County. State law provides <br /> for a fee system to cover the cost of implementing this state mandated <br /> p rog ram. <br /> Local fees (see attached Fee Schedule) , for these required inspectional <br /> services, will be billed on a yearly basis. The facilities Permit to Operate <br /> will be issued for a five year period. In addition to the yearly <br /> } inspectional fee, this statement will also include a `p56/tank State surcharge <br /> fee. The State surcharge fee per tank will be charged five years or <br /> whenever the facilities permit is renewed or amen++d . -'tate surcharge <br /> fees will be transmitted by the Health Dist-' rnia Water <br /> Resources Control. Board. <br /> To apply for a facilities p:.; l ,implete the attached Fee <br /> Worksheet and submit the a e->. Fees are due and payable February <br /> 3, 1986. Fees received aft+ :.r; 6, 1986 are subject to 1007 penalty. <br /> In order to answer any questions regarding this Underground Storage Tank <br /> program, the San Joaquin Local Health Distict Division of Environmental Health <br /> has scheduled the following information workshops: <br /> 1. Thursday, January 30, 1986, 10 AM <br /> 2. Monday, February 3, 1986, 2 PM <br /> 3. Tuesday, February 11, 1.986, 2 PM <br /> All of the above informational workshops will be conducted at the San Joaquin <br /> Local Health District Board Room, 1601 E. Hazelton Ave. , Stockton, CA.
