This report documents the results of
a subsurface soil contamination study, preformed at your request, around a
3000 gallon underground gasoline tank located at the Lodi Service Center.
Work done during the course of this investigation included two exploratory
borings, soil sampling, and chemical analysis of selected soil samples.
Analytical results indicate that gasoline, kerosene and diesel was
non-detectable for all the soil samples tested. Oil hydrocarbons were detected
in one sample from boring B-1. The presence of oil hydrocarbons in this
sample suggest that soil contamination from an indeterminate oil source has
occurred.
Please contact myself or Larry A. Flora (551-5441) of my staff if you have
any questions concerning the results of this investigation.
TERRANC MeTURNER
LFlora(551-5441):mrp
1356A/mrp4
cc: DAday
RAnderson
MLafferty S33IASM/mN831
RAMcCurdy HTIVIH 1V1N3w0211AN3
LMcMillan
HRoss 986102100
RWilliams
Attachment RUP1399
HKMcCluer
CBScott
