EMPLOYEE TRAINING CONTINUED <br /> Any unauthorized release "if safe to do so must be controlled and stopped immediatedly. <br /> Activate pump shut off if necessary, Any hazardous material remaining if necessary must be <br /> removed and treated as hazardous waste unless returned to its proper--place of storage. <br /> Any release to secondary containment will be removed or pumped when safe to do so, but not <br /> longer than 30 calender days from day of release, unless release can go back to its original <br /> origin it must be treated as hazardous waste and properly disposed of. <br /> Absorbant material can be used to contain and clean up hazardous releases, and it may be <br /> reused if suitable, if not it must be treated as hazardous waste and properly disposed of <br /> along with replenishing you supply, which needs to be stored and labeled properly. <br /> Any product found in containment structures, before removing it must be determined if water <br /> or hazardous material, if water it must not be put down storm drains. <br /> Absorbents or spill control products at your location must be inspected at least once monthly <br /> and replenished as needed or used. <br /> You must keep all manifest for any materials removed from your facility, oil,filters, <br /> hazardous waste, dirt, ect. Please keep them in your ust book or where can be found <br /> easily when asked. <br /> If you have a release from your primary containment you must contact your ust operator as <br /> soon as possible, or as soon as safety permits. There is reporting and paper work that <br /> must be done. <br />
