(AGE) has prepared this <br />work plan to obtain closure of the product lines associated with the underground storage tank (UST) <br />removed from the site. The location of the site is depicted in Figure I and the site structures and pipe <br />location are depicted in Figure 2. The product line between the dispenser and the UST were not <br />removed during the excavation of the UST. This line is located under the station house. <br />AGE proposes to abandon the product line in place. Both ends of each product line will be exposed. <br />The pipe will be rinsed with cleaning agents. Rinseate will be containerized in a DOT -approved 55 - <br />gallon drum or pumped from the line and disposed of in manner fully in compliance with applicable <br />regulations. <br />Neat cement will be used to fill the pipe under pressure. <br />A soil sample will be collected at a depth of two feet below the pipe line, at the former dispenser <br />location. The samples will be analyzed for the following: <br />Total petroleum hydrocarbons quantified as diesel (TPH-d) in accordance with EPA method <br />8015 -modified, <br />Purgeable aromatics (benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and total xylenes: BTE&X) in <br />accordance with EPA method 8020. <br />4005 North Wilson Way, Stockton, California 95205 <br />Telephone (209) 467-1006 FAX(209)467-1118 <br />
