Underground Fuel <br /> Storage Tank. <br /> Dear Sir, <br /> We are pleased to quote on the above work to be performed as <br /> follows: <br /> 1. Following the excavation and removal of the fuel from <br /> the storage tank by others, NORCAP Services will evacuate, enter, <br /> clean out and inspect the tank. The owner shall supply a vacuum <br /> truck or approved waste containers for sludge removal and shall <br /> be responsible for the proper disposal of same. Following the <br /> approval of the tank for lining, we shall sandblast the entire <br /> inner surface of the tank to SSPC # 5 White Blasted Surface in <br /> accordance with the enclosed specifications. We will next apply <br /> a prime coat of NSS 37E Epoxy resin primer at not less than 10 <br /> mils in thickness. Prime coats to be applied within eight hours <br /> of sandblasting or prior to any blush rust forming if a condition <br /> of high humidity exists. Two layers of 2 oz, chopped strand <br /> fiberglass mat will be hand applied and properly wetout with this <br /> same resin. All entrapped air will be removed using grooved <br /> rollers. Following the initial cure of this laminate, we will <br /> spark test, visually inspect the entire inner surface, sand <br /> all protrusions and repair any areas that show need of same. <br /> Following the cure of this laminate, we will apply two seperate <br /> coats of resin, not less than 5 mils each as a final seal coat. <br /> COSTS SHALL APPLY AS FOLLOWS: <br /> COST to open, clean out and inspect the tank.....$2,735.00 <br /> ADDITIONAL COST to reline the above tank <br /> following inpection and approval ................ 5,465.00 <br /> TOTAL COST not to exceed . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 4000 . . , . $ $1200.00 <br /> TERMS: 40% at onset of job, balance due within 5 days of <br /> completion. <br /> NOTICE TO START: Upon verification of date <br /> INDUSTRIAL THERMOPLASTIC and FRP - LININGS - REPAIRS - COATINGS -TANKS - FITTINGS <br /> SPECIALTY FABRICATION - PLATING SYSTEMS - AIR POLLUTION CONTROL SYSTEMS <br />
