Our Board of Supervisors supports this significant project; and has approved a Memorandum of
Understanding between the County and the State for coordination regarding the project, among other things.
So with that background, during excavation, the State has uncovered a fuel tank. The state has secured Nino & Moore for
preparing the materials for environmental permitting. The State is willing to pay additional fees for expedited processing of
a tank removal permit by EHD.
Anything that can be done to expedite the County permit process would be appreciated. Although not a County project,
this is a high-profile project within the community. And I do not desire for the County to be put in a position as a "reason"
for a project delay. Listed below is the State contact for coordination.
Russ Konig, CCM, LEED AP
Project Manager
Judicial Branch Capital Program Office
Judicial Council of California—Administrative Office of the Courts
Tel.: (916) 263-2112
Cell: (916) 343-4237
Russ.Koni -t 'ud.ca. ov
Again, anything that you can do would be appreciated.
