Frazier under contract number 714016489 and job number <br /> 140 . <br /> PROJECT DESCRIPTION <br /> Thero 'ect consisted of <br /> p 7 obtaining seven soil samples after <br /> removal of three USTs and six soil samples from two stockpiles of <br /> soil associated with the UST excavation. The excavation for the <br /> USTs was located approximately 20 feet south of the garage and <br /> approximately 264 feet north of Frontage Road. <br /> INSPECTION AND SAMPLING PROCEDURES <br /> Depth to the bottom of the USTs was measured and recorded <br /> prior to removal . After removal , the length and diameter of the <br /> USTs were measured and recorded. In addition, the USTs were <br /> inspected for holes, rust, and other physical evidence that would <br /> suggest the potential for leakage. Finally, the UST excavation was <br /> inspected for the presence of petroleum product odor and soil <br /> discoloration. <br /> Seven soil Samples were collected after removal of the USTs by <br /> Mr. Ray Kurz , Twining ' s staff technician, on October 16, 1991 . The <br /> soil samples were collected from a depth of three feet below the <br /> bottom of the USTs . Six soil samples were collected from two <br /> stockpiles of soil associated with the UST excavation.
