0 0 <br /> The following reporting procedures are to be followed in the event of a bomb <br /> threat: <br /> 1 . Bomb threats made against an operating facility, such as a power plant <br /> or substation should be handled as follows: <br /> a. Call the local law enforcement agency. <br /> b. Call the General Office telephone operator at (415) 972-7000 or <br /> 222-7010. The operator will notify the following: <br /> 1) The Security Department. <br /> 2) The appropriate operating department. <br /> 3) The Dews Bureau. <br /> c. Conduct an orderly search of the facility to find any suspicious <br /> articles. Do not touch any articles found. <br /> d. Assist law enforcement as requested. <br /> e. Complete PGandE Bomb Threat Report, Form No. 87-52. (A copy is <br /> included at the end of this procedure. ) <br /> 2. Bomb threats made against facilities other than power plants and <br /> substations should be handled as follows: <br /> a. Call the local law enforcement agency. <br /> b. Through channels, notify the Division/Department Manager or his/her <br /> delegate. <br /> c. If possible, conduct an orderly search of the facility to find any <br /> suspicious articles. Do not touch any articles found. <br /> d. Assist law enforcement as requested. <br /> e. Notify the Security Department at 222-6922 as soon as is practical . <br /> f. Complete Bomb Threat Report, Form No. 87-52.
