Moe :
This is to inform you of the actions made on underground tanks at
the Stockton Service Center, 4040 West Lane, Stockton, California
as of this date .
Enclosed are copies of the test results for the 2 , 000 gallon
diesel tank . Precision Industries of Stockton, (P. I . ) conducted
the test on April 5 , 1986 , utilizing the Horner Ezy-Check method .
As the results indicate, the diesel tank passed the precision
test and is certified "tight . "
The 3 underground unleaded fuel tanks were tested by P . I . on May
15 , 1986 . Because of the piping associated with these tanks, we
were forced to test all 3 tanks as if they were one large tank.
The test results from this test were inconclusive according to
P. I . and were probably caused by trapped air pockets in the tanks
or piping.
We are currently making arrangements to daylight the 3 tanks and
make the necessary modifications to the piping to allow each tank
to be tested individually . The results from each test will be
forwarded to you as soon as they become available.
