TL 488-0479-00 <br /> Page 2 <br /> Sampling Procedure <br /> The soil samples were obtained by Mr. Val Baroni of our firm <br /> on August 10, 1988. The soil samples were retrieved from the <br /> depth of approximately two feet below the bottom of the tank <br /> excavations. The locations and depths were specified by a <br /> representative of the San Joaquin Environmental Health <br /> Department. The soil samples were retrieved from the bucket of a <br /> backhoe using a pre-cleaned glass container and immediately <br /> packed in ice for shipment to our laboratory. The samples were <br /> clearly identified and banded with shipping seals. The samples <br /> retrieved in the field were brought to our facility in Fresno, <br /> California on August 15, 1988. <br /> Test Methods <br /> The soil samples retrieved from the project site were <br /> analyzed for the following constituents using the listed EPA <br /> Methods. <br /> Ethylenedibromide DHS: Methods AB 1803 <br /> Benzene, Toluene, Xylenes, <br /> Ethylbenzene SW-846: Methods 5020, 8020 <br /> Total Hydrocarbons SW-846: Methods 5020, 8015 <br /> (Standard Reference: diesel and gasoline) <br /> Fresno Modesto Visalia Bakersfield <br />
