Wilson Way
Stockton, CA.
2. Scale drawings - see attached.
3. History of Site:
The fuel and waste oil tanks were installed about 18 years
ago. The fuel tank was 500 gallon regular and was used up to
about 6 years ago. The 250 waste oil tank was also discontinued
fdr use about 6 years ago. The tanks were removed by Jim Thorpe
Oil of Lodi, CA. and the soil analysis showed signs of contamination
in the area close to the building where the dispenser was mounted.
Prior to the tank removal both tanks tested tight which may indicate
a product line or dispenser may have been leaking. The two
exploritory trenches shown on the attached drawing should be
sufficient to determine the contamination spread.
4. Ground water below 25 feet. Ref City Engineering Offices, Stockton,
CA. Total amount of dirt to be excavated by backhoe operation
is approximately 20 cubic yards. The dirt will be placed back
in excavated hole upon completion of soil sampling. The hole
will be lined with plastic 30-60 mil thickness prior to backfill.
5. Remedial steps to be taken to clean up the soil contamination may ,
consist of aeration by backhoe of the contaminated soil, if
permitted by the county. If not allowed to aerate the contaminated
soil, 'then-,the. contarhinated soil will be removed to the contaminated
land fill in Buttonwillow, California.
6. However, North Cal'Construction has no contract with Bill Joeseph
to haul any contaminated soil from this job site. We are only
 J
