Box 2009
Stockton, California 95201
Attention: Cynthia Whener
Re: Your Request for Supplemental Information Concerning American
Savings Tank Removal and Soil Aeration
Dear Cynthia:
Attached please find the remaining documentation necessary to close your file on
this Project.
Again, all actions taken were in accordance with agreements made onsite and in
accordance with established guidelines and with the knowledge of San Joaquin
Local Health District officials.
Stockton Service Station Equipment Company rendered the steel from the tank
nonhazardous through various methods in their yard and then sold the steel to a
metal recycler (see attached receipt). This was done in agreement and per
approved practices of Local Health District officials. Manifesting of the tanks
was not required.
All oil in the tank was previously pumped by Recycleton Oil Inc. (see attached
receipts) and an oil recycler. Therefore, manifesting of the materials was not
required. Finally, please find a letter notifying San Joaquin Local Health
District of the completion of aeration of the hydrocarbon contaminated soil at
the 8th Street aeration site. The site has been returned to its original
pristine condition.
If I can be of any additional service, please do not hesitate to contact me.
Sincerely,
RUDOLPH AND SLETTEN,
POP
Rick Seifert
Safety Manager
INC. cc: Nick Harris, American Savings
Roger Eade, American Savings
Jim Dolen, Rudolph & Sletten
Mark Shope, Rudolph & Sletten
Peter Nosler, Rudolph & Sletti
G)
License 198069
General and Engineering Contractors • Construction Managers
