Box 1007 <br /> Manteca, CA 95336 <br /> Investigation and Cleanup of Soil and <br /> Ground Water Contaminated with Petroleum Products <br /> Dear Mr. Michelini: <br /> As per our conversation of February 19, 1986, I am sending our partialy <br /> executed Professional Services Agreement for engineering services relating <br /> to identification of the nature and extent of soil and ground water <br /> contaminated with petroleum products. Our services will also include <br /> cleanup efforts if needed. <br /> Scope of Work <br /> Our efforts to meet Royal Oak Savings needs will be structured in step—like <br /> fashion. <br /> Task 1. Commencment of Efforts — Preliminery Plan of Action. <br /> This task will include the following activities. <br /> o Interview personnel from Precision Industries involved in the <br /> excavation and removal of tanks. <br /> o Notification of the San Joaquin Local Health District about <br /> commencement of efforts, submittal of a preliminary plan of action <br /> and well permit application. <br /> These two activities will fulfil the pressing immediate obligation imposed <br /> by the San Joaquin Local Health district. Upon recipt of the necessary <br /> drilling permit and the approval of the plan of action we will proceed with <br /> the definition of extent of contamination of soil and water. <br />
