This unit must be checked daily to make sure the power
light is on and there have been no alarms.
If an alarm light comes on, but no audible alarm is heard, the
unit is detecting water somewhere in the secondary containment
and must be called in to Maintenance to be checked and reset .
If an alarm light comes on and an audible alarm is heard, the
unit is detecting gasoline somewhere in the secondary containment
and must be called into Maintenance to repair and reset . The
audible alarm can be turned off by pushing the button or the
silent switch, but the red light will remain on.
You do not have to shut down the gas island if this unit trips,
but you must inform Maintenance when any of the alarm lights or
audible alarms trip.
ci VISUAL INSPECTION - A visual inspection of the gasoline
dispensers is to be done every week:.
