A Closure Plan and Closure Plan fees of $267.00 will be needed to cover the removal of existing J
piping,handling of piping,and associated piping/dispenser samples.
2. Please submit Installation Plan pages 6-8.
3. Existing piping/pump sump(on tank)is metal with a coating. As per our discussion September
25,2001,you are planning to keep this metal sump. I have reviewed the California Code of
Regulations(CCR)and found that the metal sump must be designed and certified as adequate by a
corrosion specialist according to CCR section 2635 (a)(2)(A). See enclosed CCR section.
4. Provide drawings of piping terminations at tank sump showing the joins between old and new
piping.
5. New piping must be compatible(same type)with the originally installed piping.
6. Please show how piping will run to dispensers and remote dispensing locations.
7. This list is incomplete pending review of submittals
ENC: CCR section 2635 (a)(2)(A)
Secondary containment testing required by SB 989
A Division of San Joaquin County Health Care Services
