At that time the Department of Health Services would have
provided oversight of the further assessment. Currently, there is a Voluntary
Cleanup Program that is coordinated by the California Department of Toxic
Substances Control (DTSC) and the California Regional Water Quality Control
Board that will provide oversight of the further assessment needed at this site.
Please contact Tim Miles with DTSC at (916) 255-3710 for information on
obtaining oversight of the site assessment.
If borings/well are to be installed a permit must be obtained from EHD.
If you have any questions contact me at (209) 468-3449.
Donna Heran, REHS, Director
Environmental Health Department
Margaro, Supervising REHS
Unit IV
