These Bills require <br /> the inventory, inspection and permitting of all umderground storage tanks that <br /> contain hazardous materials. The San Joaquin Local Health District, Division <br /> of Environmental Health was designated as the enforcement agency for the <br /> cities and unincorporated areas within San Joaquin County. State law provides | <br /> for Al fee system to cover the cost of implementing this state mandated � <br /> pro9ram. <br /> - <br /> Local fees (see attached Fee Schedule) , for these required inspectional <br /> services, will be billed on a yearly basi=. The facilities Permit to Operate <br /> will be issued for a five year period. In addition to the yearly <br /> inspectional fee, this statement will also include a $66/tank State surcharge <br /> fee. The State surcharge fee per Lank will be charged every five years or <br /> whenever the facilities permit is renewed or amended. All State surcharge <br /> fees will be transmitted by the Health District to the California Waher <br /> Resources Control Board. <br /> To apply for a facilities Permit to Operate, complete the attached Fee <br /> Worksheet and submit the appropriate fees. Fees are due and payable February <br /> 3, 1986. Fees received after March 6, 1986 are subject to 100% penalty. <br /> In order to answer any questions regarding this Underground Stora�4e Tank <br /> program, the San Joaquin Local Health Distict Division of Environmental Health <br /> has scheduled the following information workshops". . <br /> 1' Thursday, January 30, 19869 10 AM ' <br /> 2.
