Mendacino <br /> Stockton, CA <br /> San Joaquin County Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division <br /> (PHS/EHD) upon further review of the underground storage tank file for the above <br /> referenced site found an inspection report for the 250 gallon underground storage <br /> tank that was removed June 10, 1986. The PHS/EHD inspector noted that there was <br /> no odor to or discoloration of the soil at the time the tank was removed. <br /> This letter confirms the completion of the tank removal investigation for the 250 <br /> gallon and 1000 gallon underground storage tanks removed on June 10, 1986 and <br /> June 10, 1987, respectively. With the provision that the information provided <br /> to this agency was accurate and representative of existing conditions, it is our <br /> position that no further action is required at this time. <br /> Please be advised that this letter does not relieve you of any liability under <br /> the California Health and Safety Code for past, present, or future operations at <br /> the site. Nor does it relieve you of the responsibility to clean up existing, <br /> additional, or previously unidentified conditions at the site which cause or <br /> threaten to cause pollution or nuisance or otherwise pose a threat to water <br /> quality or public health. <br /> Additionally, be advised that changes in the present or proposed use of the site <br /> may require further site characterization and mitigation activity.
