FIRE DEPARTMENT
290 S. Powers a
Manteca, California 95336 _ man eca
209-239-8435
March 4, 1986
CITY OF MANTECA
Walter Barbour
913 Parkwood Drive
Modesto, Ca 95350
Re: 466 Moffat Blvd.
It has come to my attention that there are three (3) underground
tanks located at the property you own, 466 Moffat Blvd. , Manteca.
These tanks have been abandoned and not in use since at least
September of 1975.
The Uniform Fire Code, Section 79. 113(e) , states that any under-
ground tank which has been abandoned for a period of one year shall
be removed and the hole properly filled. I am requesting that you
conform to this code and have these tanks removed within ninety (90)
days.
Prior to removal of these tanks, you will need to notify the Manteca
Fire Department and the San Joaquin Local Health District to obtain
the necessary permits to remove these tanks.
If you have any questions or comments you may contact me at (209)
239-8446.
Thank you.
GEORGE M. QUARESMA
Fire Prevention Officer
GMQ/lp
