3.0 SITE DESCRIPTION <br /> The site is located on the Northeast Corner of E. Mariposa Road & Farmington Road in <br /> Stockton, California (see Figure 1). During the construction of a proposed Walgreens, <br /> an approximately 1,000 gallon diesel UST was discovered on the southwest corner of <br /> the property under the existing sidewalk. This UST is to be destroyed in place. <br /> This property is defined by the County of San Joaquin Assessor's Office as Parcel <br /> Numbers (APNs) 173-040-33, 173-040-34, 173-040-35, and 173-040-36. The Subject <br /> Property consists of six single-story buildings totaling approximately 4,000 square-feet. <br /> The property at 2040 East Mariposa Road was constructed in the late 1960s and has <br /> operated since at least 1970 as Snow-White Drive-in restaurant. The property at 2064 <br /> East Mariposa Road was constructed in early 1957 and has operated since at least <br /> 1985 as Barker's Auto Upholstery. The property at 2088 East Mariposa Road was <br /> constructed in the early 1960's and has operated as a smog center (currently Smog <br /> Time) since at least 2000. The northeast portion of the Subject Property at 2811 <br /> Farmington Road is undeveloped with two mobile storage containers and several <br /> unused vehicles on the property. A single family residence and a residential trailer are <br /> located on the northwest portion of the Subject Property. Professional Service <br /> Industries (PSI) was contracted by Farmington Mariposa Development Co., LLC to collect <br /> soil samples as part of the removal of the UST from the subject property. <br /> 4.0 SCOPE OF WORK <br /> In place tank destruction and removal of impacted soils into stockpiles.
