Add the Vaporless LD2000 line leak detector to th 87-
and 89-products and indicate that the Red Jacket FX1 DV line leak detector is for diesel only. A site plan must be
submitted identifying the locations where monitoring will be performed.
This was corrected on site.
This is a repeat violation, Class II.
204 CCR 2712(i) Current monitoring plan approved by the EHD not found on site.
An approved copy of the monitoring plans was not available for inspection. A copy of these plans shall be
accessible on site at all times.
This was corrected on site.
This is a minor violation.
315 HSC 25291(e) Water in secondary containment not removed, analyzed, and properly disposed of(pre-Jul 2003).
A trace of liquid was observed in the 87-and 89-product fill sumps. If water could enter into the secondary
containment by precipitation or infiltration, it must be removed and disposed of properly. The service technician
removed the liquid from the 87-and 89-product fill sumps. Ensure that all sumps and annular spaces are
maintained free of liquid.
This was corrected on site.
This is a minor violation.
318 CCR 2636(f)(2) Leak detector failed to detect a 3.0 gph leak at 10 psi.
The 87-product VMI line leak detector failed to detect a leak when tested. All line leak detectors shall be capable of
detecting a 3-gallon per hour leak at 10 psi. The service technician allowed the product to drain longer from the
system, retested it, and it passed.
This was corrected on site.
This is a minor violation.
319 CCR 2635(b) No spill bucket, failed to contain five gallons, or failed to provide a means to keep it empty.
The 89-and 91-product spill containers failed the one-hour hydrostatic test. All LISTS shall be equipped with a spill
container that has a minimum capacity of five gallons and a drain valve that allows drainage of the collected spill into
the primary container or provides a means to keep the container empty. The service technician changed the cap on
both spill containers and cleaned the drain valve in the 91-product spill container, retested, and both spill containers
passed the one-hour hydrostatic test.
This was corrected on site..
This is a minor violation.
FA0003815 PR0231356 SCO01 06/21/2017
EHD 23-01 Rev.09/22/16 Page 4 of 5 Underground Storage Tank Program OIR
