PRESSURE TESTING SIDEBAR <br /> Single-Wall (or Primary)Tank 4.If there is no monitoring fluid on Dry Double-Wall <br /> eithertheinteriorortheexteriorof Multicompartment Tank <br /> 1.Pressurize the tank. any compartment,backfill the tank Not Under Vacuum <br /> 2.Check threaded orflanged joints to the top of the tank. <br /> for problems with the tank. 5.After the tank is backfilled to the top 1.Install a test manifold in the base tank <br /> 3.Soap the entire exterior of the tank of the tank,it may be pressure tested and in each end compartment. <br /> (not applicable for a double-wall tank), as in Single-Wall(or Primary)Tank 2.Pressurize the base tank and the end <br /> including all service fittings and steps 1-6. compartment(s)as in a Single-Wall <br /> manways when present.
